I've probably put 10,000 rounds through it on dove, pheasant and quail.

I see now that the 16 Ga is readily fed.
I have never shot one and I don’t see it stocked that often.
There is absolutely no family member, friend, neighbor, or any acquaintance in our circles that would kick your door down in the middle of the night.
You force entry here, you get shot.
No, and not cheaply either.
Fortunately, I recently bought a case of 7-1/2 and 4 shot at a garage sale of all places. Remington ammo, unopened cases, stored in a garage inside an old hope chest full of quilts for the past 20 years. Got it all, including the hope chest and quilts for $60.
Cracked open a box for grins and they cycle nicely.

I understand what he is trying to say, but we aint having this conversation in the middle of the night with a stranger in you home.
I think he is just trying to stress that you had better stand by for legal action.

I have had dumbass friends come beating on the door in the middle of the night.
I have had strangers come beating on the door in the middle of the night.
I had an asshat break into my truck a few weeks ago in another town.
That asshat was lucky that I didn’t catch them.
I wouldn’t have shot them over a few hundred dollars but I would have made them get a wet spot.
And if they came at me they would be toast.
But, the fact is that I was not vigilant and the punk stole my stuff.
That sucks.
Was your truck locked? Did they break a window?

I was in the someone else’s house nursing a saturday night away and not on my game.
I guess my point is that for all of the talk about what would come down.

Years ago, I had some asshole break out a $120 window in my car to steal a $40 tape player. I also had a battery stolen out of my pickup truck once. In order to be fast, they cut the battery cables with bolt cutters. The friggin battery cables cost more to replace than the battery.
Yup, it was just like that.
Daymn GPS was broken to boot! LOL
Here is a funny thing.
If you have something you want to get rid of and you place it by the curb with a sign that says “FREE”.
You cant move it.
But if you place it by the curb and you place a sign that says $25
Some prick will steal it!

A few years ago, I decided to replace the gutters on one side of my house. I noticed that when tearing them down they were EXTREMELY heavy. Once on the ground, I dug through decades of layers of paint and found that they where copper! I pulled them out to my back yard and went into the house. I was in the house for only 10 minutes or so. When I came out the gutters were gone!
