Obama, the accidental president, playing the role of a banana-republic dictator.

Excuse me, but what good are fighter jets in one-man protection? Aren’t they theatre weapons?
To: bkopto
The President will lay a wreath at the USS Peary memorial in Darwin and talk to troops at the RAAF base. What a perfect day for a round of golf.
Too bad 0bama is required to be in full campaign mode now.

Help me:
Where was it, where POTUS’ SS called up the British Navy, shrieking that they reposition a missile launcher on the foredeck of a ship birthed near the hotel ObaMugabe was staying? In fact the missiles featured were not war-shots at all, but demilitarized practice rounds.
This was at some Aussie hotel or something?

You know, this just struck me.
Does anyone recall that the (universally derided and hated) George Dubya Bush ever needed this kind of security, even when visiting our erstwhile allies?
...and on that topic, how much security did Obaama insist upon while on the trip where he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia?
Cheers1

The missile flap was in South Africa - the Secret Service didn't like the fact the British ship had missiles pointing directly at the hotel.
As for fighter jets over Darwin, probably not a bad idea considering it's not that far from Indonesia and Australians are still vigilant from the 2002 Bali bombing which killed 88 of their countrymen.

Before I would give the OK to take out Osama Bin Laden ,I would ask one question. Will my family ever be safe ? Maybe the question Bush asked and didn’t like the answer.

“Will my family ever be safe ? “
Just safe enough to pay for the bailout of phony paper makers, through disguised schemes like RICO-Federal-Beltway-Vampire-Care.

Maybe he’ll try a round on the beach and see a big ole honkin’ croc... get scared shotless and resign.

“Hitler had many bodyguards, he needed them.” From the documentary ‘Hitler’s Bodyguards’
Zero’s armed guard is even bigger.

1) You wouldn't ever be a great president.
2) Bush knew without asking that his family would never be safe whether or not he took out bin Laden.

Jets are good at taking out Armor, other jets or watercraft common to attacks by nations.
Maybe it’s the toys he has given to his communist/Muslim brothers that makes him paranoid. Could it be that he worries them or makes them jealous?

Hmmmm.....ok Janey, time to get the RAAF troops to shout out "Perry....Perry....remember Perry!" just to show the bond between the Aussies and Americans.
A fitting barrack for the occasion, right?
