Sorry, but we’re electing a President. Whining that things “aren’t fair” isn’t Presidential. She’s at 4% in the polls. Thats why she’s not getting attention.

So, why go on these shows? If all true conservatives would be “no shows” there would be no shows.

Republicans are stupid and this entire series of debates showed it.

The debates have been orchestrated by the mainstream media to get the candidates to attack each other, not discuss the different approaches to rectifying the mess Obama has made of America.

Also, the questions are framed and construed to provide the media’s favorite choice - “Mitt” Romney with the most coverage, while deliberately belittling, ignoring and marginalizing the three conservatives there - Gingrich, Cain and Bachmann.

WHY they are allowing this to proceed this way is beyond me.

As I have said over and over again, the Democrats CAN’T win by making this about Obama and his record. They can only win by making the election about who the Republicans select.

As Gingrich said, aside from Romney and Huntsman, ANY one of the candidates up there, including Perry, would do a far better job of rectifying the economy and protecting us against foreign threats than Obama or ANY OTHER DEMOCRAT.

The republicans should debate each other 3 times a week.

It should be live streamed from the GOP website with pod casts of all the past debates available from said website.

They should just sit around a large table and discuss a single issue at a time. Social security, defense, Education, Medicare and so on and so forth.

No moderators and no timekeeping. No time limits, they could debate for one to eight hours, as long as they want.

Why they let a bunch of elitist liberals question them as they are doing now is insanity. Letting some liberal interrupt my conservative candidates is insulting and demeaning.

Are we not in the information age?

What is wrong with these people?

The debates are always poorly conducted, and this one was no exception. If anything, it was even more annoying than the annoying run of the mill.

The candidates need to take a hand in planning the debate format that will best allow them to get their message across to the public, because in the end, thats the point, isn’t it? to communicate ideas and wrestle with ideas. If the format shuts off every discussion just as it is getting interesting, if it shuts out half the candidates, if it forces the candidates to discuss issues from a point of view that is not their own, then its a waste of time. Its worse than a waste of time, it actually does damage to everyone standing up there.

So, since its always this way, why don’t they do something about it? Gingrich’s private debate with Cain was a good solution, it was the candidates taking control of the process. They should take control, and instead of inviting the media to “moderate” they should choose their own method of moderating it, and invite the media to broadcast it as is. If they don’t want to do it, then use other means. Radio, internet TV, hire their own cable outlet.

Don’t just stand there like patsies and take what your political enemies dish out.

Guilty.

The liberal attack dog posting as “moderator” was clearly hostile, particularly to Bachmann.

Why are the GOP candidates participating in debates “moderated” by hostile leftwing political activists?

Why?

Cain is my man and Newt is my #2 but I hope Michele can cause CBS a lot of grief over this.

Huntsman is at 1% and got more face time than Bachmann or Paul combined.
