conveniently forget that Newt quit in 1998, two days after he was overwhelmingly re-elected to his House seat.

But after losing many seats for his party in an off year election.

It was the honorable thing to do. Had it been feudal Japan, he would have been expected to run a sword through his belly.

He was to elected to represent his district. He quit on them....all I’m saying is to hold him to the same standard as Palin.
