Bachmann actually gave the best and most substantive answers on foreign policy. The problem was that she was effectively shut out of the discussion. She was chomping at the bit to respond to the “torture” question and the outrageous responses of Paul and Huntsman. Newt gave the best sound bite on the issue, but he failed to address the issue of waterboarding properly. Missed opportunity.

Agree—Bachmann was in top form last night. David Gregory is trying his best to catch her in a gotcha today.

Bachmann had a good interview with Gregory. He got to the point of just letting her talk - no rebuttal thoughts at all.

Conservatives screwed up in the first place by not challenging the claims that water boarding is torture.

If it’s torture, it’s along the lines of sleep deprivation or loud music.

Nobody has died or injured by water boarding. Maybe the media would prefer real torture? Perhaps they could interview some real torture victims from Russia, China, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran to get a better understanding.
