Agreed. I went through SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) training before going to Vietnam. I guess by the definitions used today, we were being tortured.

I shall never forget the image of Gingrich sitting next to Slick Willie somewhere in New Hampshire, iirc, and telling his tv and live audience how well they were going to work together. Newt was all smiles and open body language; Clinton was rolling his eyes and trying to control his laughter, at the sucker sitting next to him.If he gets the nomination, I hope he has learned that Democrats are liars.

Black Rep candidates are no longer black. Ask Steele, Swann, and Blackwell. Blacks will vote for white Dems over black Reps.

Yes, you were. Now all you have to do is hire Gloria Alred or any number of Democrats as well as McCain or Graham to represent you in a law suit. You could call on John Kerry to be witness because he was probably there with you.
I guess now we know why you are so strange, huh.

I'm hoping for a conservative candidate. If we don't get one I plan on huge bonfires to be lit underneath all rinos everywhere. WE can bring them along kicking and screaming. That's one of their qualities(if can you call it that) squishy beliefs. Scare them enough and they will come along and go right just as easily as they go left.
They may campaign right and govern left but they can be coerced. Its up to us to get it done.

I agree. We are not going to get the perfect candidate out of this field. We just need to make them do the right thing once elected.

The gorilla being ignored in the froom is ‘turnout’. If the Republicna party nominates another McCain, even the republic murdering hussein obama won't inspire turnout of moderates and marginal conservatives. But little barry bastard has a couple of constituencies who dependably vote in overwhelming numbers for whomever their plantation massah’s tell them to vote for. To overcome that black and Hispanic vote block we must field a candidate who inspires turnout, by having great ideas well articulated and a television persona which contrasts the bisexual cocaine freak in the White Hut. Cain or Gingrich could do that, but Milt Rominy, John Huntsvotes, Rick Sanatorium, and Rue Paul cannot rise to that level of relevance.

Didnt she look great? I agree with you, the new hairstyle is perfect on her. Sophisticated yet not overly complicated. Framed her pretty eyes perfectly. She looks very intelligent, serious, yet pretty. Whoever made that move.....sweet thinking.

Agree about the public’s memory, but the press would remind them.

You are right. Black conservatives are dead to the blacks. Cain would not get a huge turnout from the blacks. His wife might not vote for him (that’s a joke, but she is a democrat)

We cannot elect a GOP Establishment guy like Newt to be President expecting Congress to hold the Conservative line.
As we saw with Bush, the GOP Congress will roll over and play dead for the President on just about every issue.
The President, not the Congress, is where you get the leadership.

Questioned why Huntsman is still up there at all. Apparently, Huntsman, Bachmann and Santorum are still in low single digits, but, hey, if they want to stay in, I guess they can. Huntsman, Bachmann, Paul and Santorum have ZERO chance of getting the nomination. At some point the field should be narrowed.

The general public's actual collective memory being what it is Oh, don't worry about that. The second Newt moves into position, the RATagandists will "remind" them 24/7 until no longer necessary.
And Newt has no credible way to rebut it.

Sooo...wheres Buy-a-lick, All-red and the whole sordid cast of AccuRATs? Apparently when the (alleged 5) alleged victims found out they could and WOULD be sued for lieing, they called off their scheduled televised gang rape of Herman Cain.
What I worry about is that Axelrot will offer to pay their future legal fees plus whatever the jury's finding is against them plus a little extra for their trouble so that they WILL give the false testimony on TV a couple days before the general election. That's assuming Cain is our nominee.
I hope that he proceeds with a case against them at LEAST as far as having his lawyer (an order of magnitude better than Allred) have the case prepared and the subpoenas ready to go. Most important the oppo already done, lined up and ready for a same day retort.

Bachmann had a good interview with Gregory. He got to the point of just letting her talk - no rebuttal thoughts at all. Yes she did and Gregory had to let her talk because she gave him no choice.
She did not raise her voice much, maybe strengthened it a little and she did not increase her speed or become shrill. She just kept going while he kept trying to interrupt her. Finally he had to give up. It was very well done.

Wow that was great kabar!
The late great Milton Friedman says:
the way you solve things In Washington is to make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing.
Like Kermit says in all those spots on tv:
YES WE CAN
