We joked about that in our household. When Perry started to give a different answer, rather than answer the question he was asked and the mod kept trying to steer Perry back to the question, we were laughing and saying “But, I practiced the other answer so I’m going to repeat it no matter what!.” LOL

Same here. Perry went to his script every time. That’s what it takes for him to keep his foot out of his mouth.

I felt that way as well. Definitely felt like Perry had a script memorized and he was going to give his memorized answers regardless of what question was asked him of him.

He did do better in this debate, and I think that's partly due to his handlers doing a better job of prepping him and partly due to the moderators being so crappy that just about everybody looked good.

Give him credit where it is due. I give credit to others when they are strong on their points.
