I think it is Perry that will need to do well.

Perry has needed to do well in every debate since his first one, and he's just not getting it done. If he has another lackluster performance tonight, it's just going to reinforce the reputation he is creating with these debates and he's not going to move his poll numbers up.

But speaking of Perry, I do hope that since tonight deals with foreign policy, that he is asked about his idea to give work visas out to illegal immigrants (or "criminals" as they should be called) so they can move freely back and forth between countries. I still can't believe he would push such a plan in a crappy economy. Those people are after America jobs.

You mentioned this way back at post 80, but I just came onto this thread.

The only funny thing I’ve seen Steve Colbert do in a long time was this thing where he investigated the claim that foreign workers do the jobs Americans won’t do.

The truth is Americans won’t do those jobs ... farm work, hard labor, etc.

Colbert was out in this field saying, ‘isn’t there any corn in the shade?’ It was pretty funny.
