Newt was correct again.
As I said....I like Herman, I have VOTED for Herman, and if he is the nominee he will get my voted again, but....this is the big stage and you have to enter it will a bit of decorum and solemnity.
WE may like Anita Hill jokes or dismissing the former Speaker of the House as “Princess” Pelosi, but it is too flippant in this setting and should be avoided.
It was a gentle chide by Newt....and a not unwarranted one.
Did you watch that debate live, or did you only hear about the Princess Pelosi comment afterwards?
I ask, because it was clear (to people who understand context) that Cain was not calling Pelosi a Princess, he was saying that PELOSI considers HERSELF to be ROYALTY.
It was no different than any of the other candidates directly bashing Obama for his faults. The only reason people took offense at Cain's use of the word Princess was because of the false allegations of sexual harassment. But Cain was not calling her a Princess. He was referring to HER impression of HERSELF.
People don’t get the Anita Hill joke, but the Pelosi crack is warranted and easily explainable. She fleeced America for millions flying coast to coast with her entourage on a jet for four years. She is a puke, and it’s nice to see a candidate who has the nerve to call this fiend out. Bob
