"WE", IMHO, implies a monolithic Republican electorate. That is simply not the case and is the reason I expressed my concern.
Three words:
Used Car Salesman.
In February 2008, the most influential and persuasive jaw bone media personality threw his all-important support to Romneys then struggling candidacy. I think now, based on the way the campaign has shaken out, that there probably is a candidate on our side who does embody all three legs of the conservative stool, and thats Romney, Rush Limbaugh told his huge audience. The three legs of the stool are national security/foreign policy, the social conservatives, and the fiscal conservatives.
After Rush highlighted the de facto endorsement in his newsletter under the headline One Candidate Now Represents All Three Legs of Conservatism, the rest of syndicated talk radioSean Hannity, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, Glenn Becklargely followed suit. Laura Ingraham introduced Romney at CPAC as a true conservative and a conservatives conservative. (Alone among the top-rated national hosts, I openly dissented and proudly endorsed McCain.) Even Jim DeMint, the most conservative member of the U.S. Senate, fell in line behind the Mittster. Is it any wonder conservatives have electoral whiplash. And why is it not true now?
Mitt Romney is not now and has ever been a conservative. He’s a flat out liar.
And anyone who says Romney is a conservative has his head up his arse:

I agree and my point exactly. So all those jaw boners are head up their arsers.
Although I am a harsh critic of Mormonism, I would not vote for Mitt Romney if he were an evangelical Christian. It’s his political views which disqualify him.
But it's also one of the most instructive.
Same here. I wouldn’t vote for him even if claimed to be a lifelong Christian.
A man who who would say and do these evil things obviously does not believe in the same Judeo-Christian God and bible that I know: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7OQoBxZZPqU
BTTT
Jim, you certainly have all your ducks in a row. Your clarity is very much appreciated and, in this case especially, agreed with.
A word? hhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
PUTZ
Count me in I’m with you.
Romney IS Obama - just paler. NO MITT EVER!!
While I do not specially like Romney, saying four more years of Obama would be tolerable is definitely cutting off your nose to spite your face. NOTHING could be worse than the IRREPERABLE damage four more years of Islamic Obama would inflict on our nation, spiritually, emotionally, culturally, globally, financially and from an ideological viewpoint.
In weighing “anyone but Obama” against “anyone but Romney”, I submit that I would not support keeping Obama. Not even if I held my nose. Any Republican, is better than Obozo, though as defined here you would need a gas mask for a Romney presidency.
My #1 reason for not supporting Mitt Romney is a very lefty friend who ‘could live with him’ as President. I presume that’s the same reason the press is ignoring him, too. If Obama doesn’t win re-election, they figure they will hardly notice the difference.
Definitely not, because it was not just four years I was talking about, but rather looking long term there-after.
Briefly:
Four years of Obama and then another chance of getting a Conservative President.
VERSUS
Four or possibly 8 years of Romney and then getting another Liberal Democrat ( the only ones the Democrats promote ie: Clinton, Gore, Pelosi, Reid, Obama) for another 4 or 8 years.
The point of my post was to give a heads-up to Jim Robinson that if Romney gains the nomination and FR is not supporting Romney, then it will be said by some FR is in a way supporting four more years of Obama.
It is bad enough that the Democrats only give as Liberals for leadership. That problem is made exponentially worse by Republican RINO's pretending to be Conservatives so they can get elected.
To take the long view requires a certain degree of steady nerves and power of reasoning.
If I use any of the words that describe Romney here, I’ll get banned!
Oops, given recent events I’d better clarify that post. I mean that all the words describing Romney are profane, vulgar, etc., and if I use them I’ll get banned for bad language! ;-)
How the hell do you go about "sabotaging" a ticket that already has Juan "Lettuce" McCain at the top???
