That jerk is not a republican. He changed from democrat to run after Rudy, the idiotic NYers gave him his 2 elections by law couldnt run for a 3rd, so he had them change the law and ran this last time as an independent. I did not vote for him. I circulated nominating petitions in Far Rockaway for Herman Badillo, then moved down to Florida before I had a chance to twice again not vote for him.
Most sickening is that he ran on Rudy’s law and order bona fides, and Rudy would have had no problem whatever dealing with these OWS punks. Some caretaker mayor.
