Yeah, but if you see something, or have reason to even believe something is going on and don’t do or say anything, that makes you just as sick as the person doing the evil deed.
How can anyone turn a blind eye to that and be able to sleep at night is beyond my comprehension.

But you can't hold people who don't know accountable for the actions of others.

If you are mentally "blind" to something, you don't see it, and you therefore don't need to turn from it.
