When asked if Sandusky could impact alumni donations, Jim Lyons, a Penn St. alum Class of 76 responds, Absolutely, man. Its a pride thing, Hes up from Philadelphia for the game, walking around College Avenue in downtown State College, right across from campus. Its going to be going from pride to shame.

The Time Mag article linked above also says that @ the Student Vigil tonight, done ostensibly to remember the victims (and certainly it focused on that), included..."The crowd sung Imagine, the Beatles song..."
Tell us, Sand Lake Bar...did Friday night's vigil include the singing of this line from "Imagine?": Imagine there's no Heaven / It's easy if you try / No hell below us / Above us only sky
So even when you would hope that a university town would turn most to God to help it out of its plight, it wants to erase God...and ANY and ALL ultimate accountability, eh?
Sorry, Penn Staters. Sorry student body. Sorry Lyin' Alumni.
Matter and the "turf" that's on your football field and this world ain't all there is.
I would hope this becomes an opportunity to regain your corporate soul...vs. forfeiting it while trying to gain the world...
It is going to be okay, but it is going to take a while. Americans are really not big on homos porking little boys.
