I'm being sincere here now, Two_Sheds: Thanks for your post #317. We are ALL outraged by what happened, and that was your first post on this entire thread that expressed that you felt that way.

More honesty from me: Even though you never answered my post#252, I have enough faith in the charity of other FReepers that I KNOW you would have come to the rescue of that raped child -- or any person of any age who was in immediate mortal danger. I apologize to you because it was truly uncharitable of me to think that anyone -- FReeper or otherwise -- could actually walk away from a child being raped. Maybe I have blinders on, I don't know, but it is impossible for me to conceive of anyone betraying the trust of an innocent person in such a cold-blooded, heinous, cowardly way.

My visceral hatred was always aimed at McQueary. I took it out on you. I'm sorry.

Now in my defence -- LOL! -- I think you need to reread your post #215. That was the one that started it all for me. In hindsight, I'm sure you meant it glibly, but it was an incendiary thing to say. And it worked: it lit me up!
