No surprise. Obama won't do what's good for jobs and the country, he'll only do what's best for him. By making a decision before the election he'll either tick off unions or enviros.

Build refiners in the north, cut transportation cost leave all of those people and their property out of it. A win win situation.

... he'll either tick off unions or enviros.

Worse, he'll have to explain to the ME oil sheiks why he's helping the Canadians break their hold on the US market.

While American needs leadership, stable source of energy and more jobs, President Obama votes “present”.

More Canadian oil will go to China at the higher transportation costs then. There’s also the indefinite situation with Iran having nukes. Have fun with the higher fuel prices for years and years, thank the socialist NIMBYs of both political parties (mostly pensioners and local government employees) for keeping fuel prices up. Their “property values” take precedence over your property rights, and now, oil availability for our country. They own all that they see.

The Obama administration will announce Thursday that it is reevaluating the route of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, a move that will likely delay a final decision on the project, sources briefed by the administration said.
Pure theater. He's not reevaluating the Keystone XL pipeline, only the route it'll take.
There's too much money wrapped up in this already and it's been in the works for years! The processing units were built before the pipeline.

Motiva’s oil refinery expansion in Port Arthur nears completion
Motiva, a joint venture between affiliates of global oil heavyweights Royal Dutch Shell and Saudi Aramco...
Snip...The company has been working since 2006 to almost double the capacity of its existing refinery in Port Arthur, Texas.
Snip...By the time the Motiva Port Arthur Refinery expansion is completed (in 2012)...
Snip...The expanded refinery is also set up to process heavy crude from the proposed Keystone XL pipeline expansion which plans to transport crude oil from Alberta’s oil sands to the Gulf Coast.

Amateur!

What a chicken sh*t SOB he is.

• This Pipeline Project will generate $585 million in state and local taxes along its route.
• Keystone XL will create 13,000 free enterprise jobs, with no government funds, and a total expenditure of $7 billion dollars into our economy.
• TransCanada has proven to be the safest pipeline builder and operator in today’s market.
• Allows us to purchase our oil from Canada, not Saudi Arabia, etc.
• Poses no real environmental risk to the Ogallala Aquifer

Complete no brainer.
