Mumbo jumbo and you are not strangers, what is the cost of building a pipe line, not counting the number of people that will be forced at the end of a gun to sell property they do not want to sell. The tax write off would build a dozen refineries. Actually the refineries would be cheaper.

Again, you keep ignoring the need to build the pipelines to carry gasoline, diesel, jet fuel etc.

All you are proposing is more cost, more building, no savings.

Actually the refineries would be cheaper.

No way. I've been involved in building each. You simply have no clue and you keep ignoring half of the needs for what you propose.

The needs are in your mind for your personal gains, that is no concern of mine.

Ignore the facts and attack the messenger.

The pipeline will deliver ~500,000 BPD additional feedstock for about $13 billion.

500,000 BPD new refinery would run between 12~21 billion dollars. It is far cheaper to expand existing refineries than build new ones.

Plus you have to build the new refined product pipelines, new power plant, and still have the issue of being away from the demand.

Living around Houston, I've worked on projects in North Dakota, Wyoming, California, East Coast, overseas and many inbetween. This isn't about me and the location would not limit me anyways.

It’s pure theater from the standpoint of Obama not wanting to make the final decision until after the election.

If he’s reelected I’m sure he’ll okay it, if not reelected he doesn’t have to worry.

Thanks for your post and link.

Not personal opinion, I linked to the sources for those numbers.

I have lots of work pending, none of it related to this in any way.

When you lose on facts, you try for a personal attack.

This is your job, it is how you make a living, the oil industry, you are not some third party individual. How is stating the facts an attack. Never mind, hiding what you do tells the story. Mostly what you do is advertise for the industry.

And I've worked on refineries in the North as well.

Claiming I want this for personal gain is a personal attack.

Never mind, hiding what you do tells the story.

I have on my home page what I do for a living and always have. Who is hiding anything? You are the one that hasn't created an about page.

Mostly what you do is advertise for the industry.

Mostly what I do on Free Republic is correct the ignorance and lies that are posted by others.

What a chicken sh*t SOB he is.

• This Pipeline Project will generate $585 million in state and local taxes along its route.
• Keystone XL will create 13,000 free enterprise jobs, with no government funds, and a total expenditure of $7 billion dollars into our economy.
• TransCanada has proven to be the safest pipeline builder and operator in today’s market.
• Allows us to purchase our oil from Canada, not Saudi Arabia, etc.
• Poses no real environmental risk to the Ogallala Aquifer

Complete no brainer.
