Be sure to “educate” me on how elections work. Especially about 6 months from now. I am a former Reagan campaign worker and have a pretty good handle on how things work. And I especially have a good feel for how a good campaign and election should be handled.

But thanks anyway in trying to set me straight or enlighten me in proper behavior. Although that will not be easy, since my service in the Military still has a firm influence on me in that respect. (especially on the issue of respect.)

For a guy that claims to have worked for RR and served in the military you sure seem to have a firm grasp on delusion. And as for respect, anyone reading your post history can easily see that you and ‘respect’ haven’t done lunch together for quite some time.

Since you asked, Elections work/candidates win when a majority or plurality of voters cast a vote for a candidate and he haZ a happy. Having less than 10% of America behind you (lets double that to account for the margin of liberal and call it 20% for kicks) does not get you anything but a footnote mention in the history books. It does not win elections.

Please, oh respectfully brilliant Reagan worker, explain to my woefully uneducated self just how it is that in a 2 way election, 20% get you a ticket to the big job.

I eagerly await your wizened schooling of my pathetic intelect. I strangely think that a guy with in reality less than 10% support and likely 5 in the next poll thanks to consistantly bad debate performances, is a candidate for obscurity, not the Presidency. School me, because at this rate, reelection to the Texas Governor’s job isn’t looking a whole lot better than his national hopes.
