They kept Governor Sarah Palin out of the race. I believe her life was threatened, although I, of course, have no evidence of that. They know Gov. Perry is done and that Gov. Huntsman, Sen. Santorum, Representatives Bachmann and Paul are our Congressman Kucinich. They also know that we’re not going to nominate a thrice-married adulterer. That leaves Gov. Romney, the guy they’ve wanted all along.
It’s 2008 again. Suggestions? Vote for the most conservative candidate with any chance to win in your state’s primaries or caucuses.
Santorum is a very bright, solid Conservative and well qualified for the job.
We’re going with Cain/Gingrich.
The charges - I'm not sure I would, put in his position, respond to reporters any differently than, "I'm not going to respond to baseless allegations without evidence. Next question, please."; "As I just said, I'm not going to waste time responding to lies based. Next." See, the Anita Hill approach worked 20 years ago but the electorate is wise to it now. Sexual harassment is nothing more than the race card played turned 90 degrees and played along the gender axis. Voters who tout this as a disqualification are those who are supporting Obama anyways. If anything, it inoculates and strengthens Cain moving forward.
I wouldn’t rule Cain out. Don’t give up.
