Israel can live with an Iranian nuclear bomb, head of the Israeli Space Agency Professor Yitzhak Ben Yisrael said on Wednesday in an interview with Globes.

Speaking a day after the release of an IAEA report detailing Iran's efforts at weapons development, Ben Yisrael explained, "One nuclear bomb won't destroy a state, not even a neighborhood in Tel Aviv. An atomic bomb like the one the Iranians want to build has a radius of 500 meters of death and destruction, and 1,000 meters of lighter damage."

Leaders like this really raise questions about the viability/survivability of Israel. Maybe they have just grown tired of the endless struggle. Perhaps in a generation or so they will just give up, move here and leave their stunning infrastructure and agricultural improvements for the Palestinian Islamists to screw up and destroy. More Democrats, I fear.

Of course, they’ll only make one bomb, and won’t be able to make stronger bombs, and everyone knows exactly which neighborhood in Tel Aviv they’ll bomb and when, so they’ll evacuate in panic, while the rest of Tel Aviv and Israel will just wear ear plugs for one day and stay indoors. This cretin ought to stick to outer space. He belongs there.

There are some pretty basic lessons in 200 years:
1. When they blame you for all their problem, the solutions are going to hurt you.
2. IF you not being in a position of second-class citizenship and subjugation is an affront to their religion, they will try to rectify the situation.
3. If they say they want to kill you and cite a religious or political justificaiton, they mean it.
And here is a Biblical response: If someone is coming to kill you, rise against him and kill him first.
