I think Paterno became aware of Sandusky's tendencies with the '98 investigation and sought to distance him from himself and the team.

I don't think Paterno had anything to do with Sandusky's retirement package that gave him an office and access to the Lasch Football Building. I could be wrong on that. We shall see.

I don't think Paterno had anything to do with the relationship between Second Mile and PSU. Again, I could be wrong. We shall see.

I think when Paterno was told about the 2002 incident he informed people he thought would actually do the right thing regarding it. I don't believe he believed the boy was sodomized.

And maybe he even thought that there was not much point in contacting the police considering what happened in 1998.

The fact that the AG has specifically said the Paterno is NOT a target, unlike Spanier, reinforces this for me.

One word from Joe and Sandusky would have been in jail instead of continuing to rape boys in Joe's locker room.

Joe was on the Second Mile board.

OK. Even though the GJ said that McQueary told Joe what he had seen, let us say for the moment that Joe only knew that 'something sexual' happened. Are you excusing Joe for allowing Sandusky to continue doing 'something sexual' to little boys for years?

Why didn't he fire Sandusky? Why didn't he go public?
