Well, the Board has evidently tried and convicted Paterno already, which means one of two things; Either he's as guilty as the media has speculated or this story might be bigger than we've heard, and Paterno being abruptly fired is an attempt to make it go away.

I think you may have something. Why is everyone so concerned about Paterno? Why is the outrage from the media down to FR aimed at Paterno? There is a man accused of being a serial child predator, and the college administrators and head of police did nothing when they heard the allegations. So why is Paterno the object of everyone’s anger?
