And we need this test why??

THIS IS THE EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT SYSTEM.
THIS IS NOT A TEST.
"This is President Obama. Due to ongoing unrest in our major cities
and increasing tensions around the world, I am issuing an Executive Order indefinitely postponing the 2012 General Election. That is all."

I heard ours on our local talk radio station out of Las Vegas. It was like triple or quadruple, old notice talking over new notice.. almost sounded like an echo.. one would start, then another, then another, all talking a few seconds behind one another.
Had it been an emergency, I would have never understood what the heck they were saying.

In my mind it was a success. I expected everything to go black and never return.

Maybe the information will be useful in an emergency. Whatever the government says to do, do the opposite.

Was talking on the cell phone with my son and got cut off in the middle...it only lasted a few minutes but they can shut down communications in the country and thats what they wanted to test...computer didn’t go out and radio just had static...

I thought it was a success.
Only Democrats got the emergency warning. Republicans got nothing.

OK, folks, we thought $900 billion would do the job, but our 1987 used DOS computers couldn't handle it. So, we are going to dump those computers in the Marianas Trench (at a cost of $100 billion) and set up some used Windows 95 machines we got a great deal on. We should have it up and running in 5 years or so and it will only cost $2.5 trillion for the new technology.
We will also need new software since Microsoft is no longer supporting their WinEmergency Alert System software. We have contracted with 5 kids from a local high school hacker club for only $500 billion to write a brand new system for us. They tell us it will be called, "OMG, Duck Dudes!"

This is absolutely Obama’s fault. I was able to get my meatball sub this afternoon from the sub shop, so in the case that this was an actual emergency, I would have been well fed.
