Like many conservatives, I smelled a rat as soon as I realized that all the sexual harassment allegations against Herman Cain were coming out of Chicago and his 3-years as head of the NRA. Why no other sexual harassment claims against Cain in a 40-year career? Why only in this short time frame? It never added up and I strongly suspected that the claims were totally fabricated and generated by Obama campaign operatives. This is why I refuse to take these allegations seriously and I'm disappointed that a few FReepers were eager to jump on the 'dump Cain' bandwagon and accept these specious claims at face value, sometimes using the rationale that 'there are so many of them'.
I believe that these fallacious accusations, based on a political vendetta against Herman Cain by the Obama campaign, will not resonate with most Republican voters and that Cain will be the ultimate victor in the 2012 GOP presidential primary race. In my opinion, that the Obama campaign fears Herman Cain's candidacy is now beyond argument and anyone who believes that the accusations against Cain are actually true is naive and uninformed.
I will smile broadly on the day I learn that Axelrod crossed the wrong person!
Indeed she is. The Obama slimeball machine never ceases to amaze me. Also, I just want to puke every time I think about this worthless piece of crap actually being elected President (and possibly could be reelected, can you believe that?)
I wish, I just wish that just ONCE reporters from all over the country would stick a microphone in Axelrod’s and O’Grady’s faces each and every time they stepped into the light and make them answer this charge. Make it as relentless as thise sticking mcrophhones in Herman Cain’s face right now.
Just once, hold these creeps accountable. Get them on TV, get them on record, let them deny this is coming from them. Make them hold news conferences, make them deny it 24/7. Let them deal with their scumfested past. Have it run on all channels, let it dominate the news cycle. Just once.
Just ONCE.
I am so angry I could SPIT.
Disappointed? I am absolutely furious. Every last one of them can go straight to hell. It's no wonder that Republicans can't hold on to power. Time and time again, they allow the left to define the debate, set the rules, and then wonder why they get their butts kicked in. Herman Cain has been a breath of fresh air - a Republican who refuses to be enslaved by standards placed upon him by the left - standards which they do not follow themselves.
Thus how Axelrod does the real damage. What Cain needs to do is go on full offensive; Put out TV ads, give speeches on exactly what Ann wrote here, turn the tables and let THEM answer. If he doesn't, the ball stays in his court and voters will always have that red flag in their mind. He has to play major hardball with these slimebags which I have a feeling he will do other than just deny and deny.
