Around here, the Jaycees and Boy Scouts set up Christmas tree lots for fund-raising. I suppose a federal tax like this will put them out of business due to the additional regulations and paperwork involved in collecting the tax.

I just walk out back behind the cabin and cut one down, now I got to apply that concept somehow to all the other taxes I pay.

And I have a solution for that... donate the equivalent profit and don’t buy a damn tree!

I won’t pay fifteen cents to anybody on the basis of principle. It has nothing to do with the money... this is simply a political gift.

Brilliant Christmas Tree Lobby, just heard it on Rush. Commodity Promotion Act of 1996... brilliant.

EFFFFFF them!!!!

Go cut a Western Red Cedar if you live in the center of the nation. They are a blight.

If you can’t do that save energy... get an artificial tree.
