I fired my best friend and the president of our church board. He was not doing his job and had to go.
Paterno had the opportunity to save young boys and his first choice was to save his career.
Which leaves Paterno without a leg to stand on. I agree. I lost my job as a result of firing an underling, but I still sleep at night. (in a new job for the last few years) so I have little patience for Paterno types who don’t say anything and allow bureaucracy to cover their butts. academic administrators are corrupt as well, not all - but too many.
