A 28 y/o athelete comes upon an old guy raping a 10 y/o boy and a). does not physically stop it and kick the old guys ass, and b) doesn’t step outside and call 911. there are no other possible human choices! But this guy, he proceeds cautiously talk to dad, arrange some meetings, think about how it will ‘affect’ everyone. Cult-like response. You, Mr. McQueary, are a failure as a fellow human being.
