Only reason we use fresh trees is because we own a couple hundred acres of forest land up against Nat’l Forest and chop our own every year. If Zero finds out....will I have to pay 15 cents to the gov’t for my tree?

Whether they are on your land or not, those are not YOUR trees.
All your trees are belonging to us!

Yes, YOU will have to pay it. In fact, they might come and count your potential tree choices and charge $.15 each just in case they have missed any somewhere. But there will no doubt be an exemption for “poor” people who want to purchase a fresh tree.
