Hank Williams Jr. won’t be singing the opening song for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” anymore as a result of a comment he made about President Obama. Some consider him the latest prominent victim of political correctness.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 79% of American Adults think political correctness is a serious problem in America today, up five points from a year ago. Just 16% feel it’s not a problem for the country.
It is and it has been . . for decades
Yet the GOP and conservatives have filed to exploit it. Just mention PC to most people and they get irritated. It should have been attacked from the get-go. There’s not a damn thing “correct” about it.
So 79% of Americans will go to “reeducation” camp?
If so many feel so strongly about it, then why are we letting the tiny percentage who approve of it push us around? Why don’t we get Un-PC and dare them to do something about it?
It’s not the PC that is so bad, it’s the people who practice it. Separating the PC from the people who do it makes it seem like some “aura” that is out there just forcing itself onto society.
Our entire culture is so screwed up, I don’t even know where to begin in describing what’s wrong with it. From the workplace, to your neighborhood grocery store check out line. It’s all so messed up, it’s a small miracle that anything positive is accomplished anymore.

That is the only way we are going to be able to take our country back. And if we have to “break” a few unconstitutional laws doing it, then so what?
You could roll back ‘hate crime’ laws, for a start.
You could enact serious tort reform while you’re at it.
Ask Stevie Williams (Tigger’s ex-caddie) how “getting Un-PC” is working for him.
Unless our side grows a backbone and starts fighting back... the answer would be 'yes'....

For conservative "classical" liberals, we are generally faced with an odious choice between the stupid party and the evil party.
We generally align ourselves with the former, since the former is at least susceptible to our influence, whereas the latter is not.

Among other responses, truth engenders a dynamic sense of veneration -- a sense of the sacred. And this is why you will have noticed that the left attempts to surround so many of its moldy lies with the penumbra of sanctity. But the sanctity is entirely bogus -- it readily slides into the sanctimony that is intrinsic to the left. In a perverse way, this sanctimoniousness answers the human need for the sacred, but in an alternatively crudely sentimental or authoritarian manner enforced by the many varieties political correctness. (You will notice that the left's confusion of sentimentality with moral/religious depth is just as evident as their totalitarian mind control; they are not opposites but complementary -- like Hitler's sentimental love of dogs.)
This is why the left doesn't really have ideas but icons -- including "iconic ideas." It is an insidious and sinister process, because there is great psychological pressure on all us of to bow down before these false gods, as if they were actually sacred (for example, the many fawning MSM tributes to "the Goreacle"). And there is absolutely no symmetry in this.
For example, if a conservative steps in one of the left's many sacred cowpies, there is a good chance that his career will be ruined. But if a leftist offends what is actually sacred, he will be praised as someone who "speaks truth to power."
It is inconceivable that the media would trot out some moral equivalent of Christopher Hitchens to blast Martin Luther King on the occasion of his death because of the latter's embrace of dangerous socialist ideas. For one thing, few conservatives are so tasteless, not to mention enraged.
The point is that nearly every one of the leftists's core beliefs is not a proper idea but an icon, whether it is manmade global warming, being "for the little guy," affirmative action, abortion, homosexual behavior, "peace," "progress," multiculturalism, diversity -- in fact, "progressive" is the quintessence of a meaningless icon, since it bears no relationship to progress and promotes economic and social policies that ensure not just a lack of progress, but regression. For example, the "peace movement" can only bring about more war, just as affirmative action can only bring about harm to blacks.
And this is why it is so easy to be a conservative, because you no longer have to contort yourself with so many lies in order to be thoroughly consistent, both internally and externally. The left confuses their contortions with "nuance," but nuance is simply the left left brain's feeble attempt to keep reality at bay, which inevitably seeps in through the walls, ceilings, and floorboards. ........."

People have to stop cowering, groveling and apologizing. I wish just once, when some prominent person is caught being un-politically correct, he or she would say, “Bite me,” or “Get over it,” or some such. Instead they always end up apologizing, “Oh, I was so terribly wrong to say what I did, and I really didn’t mean it, and I’m sorry if I offended anybody, and please, please don’t think badly of me!” Makes me sick.

Libs revised the defination when they were loosing this battle to conservatives. Bill Maher, former SDS leader in college, came out with his program called, “Politically Incorrect.” He stood up to feminazis and left all the rest of the lies and intolerance in place.
They kept the racist diversity/multi-cultural anti-white, anti-American, and anti Christian hate doctrines, and all the international elitism (like open borders and preferences for foreigners) that hurts America.
Americans loved it Maher...at first. Soon they realized he was a Marxist ex-porn star who was politically correct.
They then replaced the feminazi cause with the homo agenda and are battering anyone who is not celebrating anal sex just as the feminazis did to sex enemies.
