I used to donate as a monthly donor. Then I donated when I could. There is just too much nastiness and many who attempt to be the judge of what a conservative is and who they should support. Some cliques on FR have a full time jobs smearing candidates with repeated lies that have been proven to false. Piranha’s feeding on flesh comes to mind when I reflect on the behavior observed.
So I don’t donate much and I don’t say much anymore. I guess it balances out. I’ve paid my share to keep the lights on. The cliques can carry the torch.
Maybe if the Republic survives the elections, I’ll feel generous and start contributing again.
It’s hard to believe that there’s that much diversity within conservatism, but there is. I get hot at times, too, but I always get to have my say.
And when the election finally gets here, this website is an awesome powerhouse of information. It always has been.
It is well worth preserving.
Would you at least agree that Romney is not a conservative. That would whittle down the list a little.
I could vote for anybody now running for the republican nod except, Romney, Huntsman and Paul but Paul is a libertarian and god forbid, if he got the nom, I might even get convinced to vote for him over Obama.
I'm for Herman Cain but could easily vote for others, such as Bachmann or Perry or Santorum (sp?)
