Once people have an expectation for you in politics (30% in the polls)and you fail to meet them (7% in the polls) they are not magically going to change back to respecting you. Once you lose the voters trust, it is almost impossible for a politician to get it back
That is not fair or right, it is human nature.
Perry has shown over the last two weeks a new tact and renewed grasp of running a national campaign.
Perry has all the stats to beat both Mitt and Obama. He has all the money and all the ground game.
Perry is still in double digits nationally and the majority have not even made up their mind.
Don't forget also, you still have Palin and DeMint endorsements (even though Demint said he wouldn't. You have state governors endorsements, all which go to Perry because he knows them all.
I'm telling you keep your eyes peeled because Perry is gonna come out of this as the comeback kid.
