True, but if they don’t come forward very very soon they will automatically be completely discreditied and rightly so.

Here's what does pass my smell test. She gets fired from her state education job for the NRA. She then flies to DC to meet with the CEO to see if he can get her job back or another one or even in the national organization.
She was fired!!!!
Now she thinks the CEO will help her. Then she sets up a meeting, for what reason? Comes to DC on a lark. Maybe I am old fashion but when I set a meeting with an executive, I tell him what the meeting is for. I just don't say I will be in DC staying at the Ritx and will see him Tuesday night.
Chances are he won't be there. Please this set up doesn't add up.
Years ago I was trying to sell to an account in Des Moines. I was in Stamford, CT. The executive always said drop in if I was in the area. Knowing that wouldn't happen. Be it said, I had another meeting in Des Moines. After that meeting I went to his office and said to the assistant, I was in the area and Bill said to stop in and see him when in the area. Well a red faced executive saw me. Only time I used this strategy.
