In his only public appearance of the day, Cain told Kimmel during the late-night interview that he got angry and disgusted as he watched Bialek and Allred. He said his wife didn't watch it but that he called her immediately afterward.

On the technicality, yes you are correct in that they came to the campaign 10 days prior but on substance you are totally wrong. Politico, on its own admission only gave them a heads up about a SH law suit settlement story they were working on. The campaign came out within hours and said it was false. Now that we have 20/20 hindsight, what is incorrect about that?
Only after Politico started to release some of the details, we learned the same time the campaign did, again by Politico’s own admission, it was a termination agreement, and Cain was also told the accuser had paid the attorney’s fees. Cain recused himself from any involvement of the investigation and subsequent result of the matter so how in the hell is he supposed to know exactly what is in the agreement to comment on?
His calling the Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Settlement was in fact entirely correct because there never was one. The releases from the campaign were entirely on point and on focus as to the changing details of the allegations as only Politico and the attorney were willing to release.
When the NRA agreed to release the complaintant from the NDA, in essence calling their bluff because the attorney never contacted the NRA to request it, the attorney backed out and would not move forward with it.

Agreed, something really weird is happening. Kimmel’s audience sounded like they absolutely loved Cain. And Cain is actually making fun of the matter using sexual innuendo.
Asked by Kimmel if maybe he shouldn’t hire Gloria Allred himself, Cain responded: “I wouldn’t hire her to do ANYTHING for me...(laughter all round)...I wouldn’t hire her to do ANYTHING.” The audience loved it.
Now, I’m assuming Kimmel’s audience didn’t suddenly turn Republican, so maybe what we’re seeing is Cain cutting into the Democrat vote? I don’t know what’s going on, but something weird is...
There is no denying the fact that the guy is just plain likeable. It was a great interview...and very friendly to Cain.

First of all, we don’t even know that this skank’s story is true. Secondly, who said it was “the middle of the night. Her? Wow, credible witness there.
Thirdly, were her only options to walk alone back to her hotel or drive with Cain, who supposedly ‘attacked’ her sexually?
She could have gone to a public place and called a friend, a cab or her infamous BF. I doubt that they were in the middle of a farm field with no access to civilization.
Stranded? Doubtful.

She says they shared an apartment building and the gym, but she didn’t talk to him.

Not the hardcore democrat votes, but definitely some moderates and a LOT of independents.
This is why I keep saying that I believe Cain has the best shot at beating Obama. He is the only candidate I know that has this widespread appeal - he appeals to the far right conservatives (like me :-) but because of his fiscal conservativism and non-politician, common sense approach, independents like him. His American success story inspires some democrats - like Juan Williams. The only group that seems to be in for him is the ultra-RINO-establishment but even some of them are coming around, I think.
I feel very optimistic about his chances.
I should add..
Everything I wrote above, I think the opposition sees, which is why the all out attack on him.

Cain Accuser’s Rocky Financial, Job History
According to public documents reviewed by ABC News, Bialek has a history of job changes and financial woes over the past two decades.
The 50-year-old Chicago woman has declared bankruptcy twice, and has lost multiple court judgments for debts totalling more than $10,000.
Bialek filed for bankruptcy in 1991 and again in 2001. Among the debts listed in 2001 are over $14,000 in credit card charges and more than $17,000 owed to the lawyer who handled a paternity case.
As of August 2011, she owed the Illinois Dept. of Revenue $4,384. By 2009, she owed the federal government $5,176 in taxes for years 2004 and 2005. There was also a lien for $885 filed against her in 2006 by a company that installed a water heater in her apartment. It was not clear if Bialek has repaid the debts.
In 2000, a judge awarded plaintiff Broadacre Management $4930.77 for unpaid rent, which included court costs. Broadacre was listed as a creditor on her 2001 Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing. Last year Bialek lost a default judgment for more than $3,500 to Illinois Lending, according to Cook County online court records, and in 2005 lost another judgment in a separate case for more than $3,000.

How would you handle something that is totally fabricated out of the whole cloth? You’d have no choice but play catch-up b/c they’ll try to only give enough rope to hang yourself.
There is no way to know what accusations they are going to make up next, but I expect it will continue if and only if they can make both his poll numbers and contributions drop.
Were you in the car or did Allred tell you that something happened because the woman said so?

People are also missing the fact that there is NO evidence that Herman was EVER alone in a car with this woman.
