You don’t seem to be able to deny this story, but you want to talk about something else.
Let’s talk about something else.
How about blaming everyone under the sun, starting with the women, moving on to Perry, everyone who’s ever known Perry, Gingrich, Romney.
Why are you (and the Cain campaign) trying to deflect Cain’s problems onto the person or person you think leaked them?
Cain has somehow, perhaps unfairly, been accused of some stuff. But the women didn’t accuse him (at least not currently — the women were involved in accusations against him over ten years ago, they had nothing to do with the story Politico wrote.
Politico is a liberal rag but we still don’t know who is responsible for the leak. You’re trying to blame a person you call a Perry Operative, but he had nothing to do with the original story and simply answered questions about what he’d seen and knew.
If Cain is proven innocent, fine. But there are some questions in people’s minds now. We’ll see what happens.
You have changed the story. The story you are speaking of where Wilson spoke to Politico was many, many stories after they did their first story. The question being addressed by all the commentators has been who was the source of the first of the Politico stories, which ultimately numbered over a hundred about Cain and the allegations in question. You seem to be confusing the later story, many stories in Politico after the first one, when Politico spoke to Wilson, with the original politico story. As to the first Politico story: there is no proof whatsoever that it came from Wilson. You seem to be changing the story by asserting that Wilson’s speaking to Politico well after the first story on Politico about the allegations against Cain is what is at issue and thus deliberately confusing the later story when Politico spoke to Wilson with the first story which initiated the Politico chain of over one hundred stories. Again, there is no proof whatsoever that Wilson was the source of the first Politico story about the allegations of sexual harassment against Cain.
