Andrea Rossis Ecat featured on Bloomberg TV!

Very interesting. This weekend Bloomberg TV aired a clip from Ecat.coms video footage taken from the 6th of October event. The TV-show energyNOW! have a special feature each week they call The Hot Zone which brings up new energy developments around the world. Andrea Rossis Ecat was apparently interesting enough to air on US national TV during last weeks program Nuclear waste and the race for resources for almost one minute.
energyNOW! is a new half-hour weekly TV news-magazine and opinion program designed to inform and engage Americans on the most pressing energy issues of the day.
energyNOWs mission statement:
energyNOW! is an editorially independent news organization created to use the latest television and digital media tools to fill this reporting gap on critical energy issues. Our newsroom is staffed by a team of veteran accredited journalists who regularly cover news events at federal agencies, the White House, the U.S. Capitol, and around the world. The program will focus primarily on the key challenges described above oil dependency, the future course of the electric power sector, leading the clean tech revolution and energy efficiency. The successful resolution of these issues is central to Americas future. energyNOW! will cover them week-in and week-out with the substantive and original journalism that these issues demand. And energyNOW! will put these issues into perspective, making them relatable to its viewers and focusing its reporting on how they impact our lives now and in the future.
Fast forward, The Hot Zone featuring Andrea Rossi can be seen between 19:02 and 20:01. Here is a transcript:
An Italian inventor has conducted what some are saying is a successful small test of the Holy Grail of energy production cold fusion, a low-energy nuclear reaction that could theoretically produce endless, self-sustaining and incredibly cheap energy. And thats whats in this weeks energyNOW! hotZONE. The inventor, Andrea Rossi, tested what he calls his E-Cat, or Energy Catalyzer, on October 28. Rossi says his technology uses a secret catalyst that reacts with small amounts of nickel powder and hydrogen gas to create clean energy in the form of heat, no radioactive materials, nuclear waste or pollution. Rossi tested the E-Cat in Italy for an unnamed U.S. company and claims it produced in five hours about as much energy as 70 gallons of gasoline contains. Theres plenty of mystery and skepticism surrounding Rossis cold fusion test, but he says the E-Cat is going into mass production soon.
FoxNews, Wired, CNN and Bloomberg TV may all have editorial independent journalists representing their high profile media outlet platforms, but nevertheless this topic represents a cross-section of its readers interest. Its only a matter of time before the Ecat hits the real news outlets catapulting it to a whole new dimension. And by the way, information hungry Googlers seems to be rising for every day now as well. Take a look at this graph showing Google Trends for searches conducted on E-cat over the past 12 months:
The relative searches has almost trippled during October alone. Even though no more tests are announced, the interest fueled by the well-known media platforms has certainly helped. Independent reporting or not.
Rossi isn’t fresh off the boat, looking for a job. Even if he was, it’s still inexcusable. Finally, he’s still claiming the Kensington degree as bona fides to this day, in connection with the e-Cat debacle.
Care to try again? I’ll give you a pass on your first try.
Has Rossi ever held a job?His family ran a waste disposal company. He "invented" a process that supposedly converted garbage into oil. He was convicted of fraud and creating a toxic waste dump, and sent to jail.
Later, he had a jewelry company, and supposedly shipped large quantities of gold, but there was no gold. He was convicted of fraud and sent to jail.
He convinced the U.S. Army to fund research on a "revolutionary" device that would convert waste heat into electricity. After a seemingly successful demo, his factory burned down, and he moved back to Italy, where he produced a few dozen devices, non of which worked at all.
That's all I know about.
Hey, no worries. Just flew back from London, having closed a Series A round for a tech startup. Of course, during that time, I continuously wondered what you and Rossi and the other people whom were actually producers were doing, so I couldn’t wait to check in.
I need a humor break.
Dang. That guy is just so unlucky. Imagine after being prosecuted and harassed for all those years he finally proves his concept and it all burns down. Gee. You gotta feel for that guy.
“I wouldnt say Kevmo is being thorough. Ive asked both of you to acknowledge Rossis academic fraud, and you both refuse to do so.”
***You mean, when I acknowledged it on a LENR thread but it wasn’t to YOU, then it’s a REFUSAL to do so? Someone is gettin’ might big for his own britches.
Do you keep that list anywhere accessible? It might prove handy as a reference of whom to consider worthwhile responding to and whom to ignore.
Can't you get this through your head....I don't CARE whether Rossi has a fake degree or not. Or whether you or anybody else thinks that is good or bad. The only thing I care about is whether or not the E-Cat puts out "anomalous heat" in large quantities. And right now, the best data says that it does.
I think calling you guys seagulls might just be erroneous....I'm beginning to think that another waterfowl applies......LOONS.....as in certifiable....bonkers....around the bend.
I know, poor guy!
I wonder if his factory will burn down this time around?
I wonder if his factory will burn down this time around?I grew up in an area with a heavy, um, "legitimate businessmen", and I remember hearing a joke related to them:
A, um, legitimate businessman is walking down the street, when another, um, legitimate businessman walks up and says, "Gee, I heard your factory just burned down. How terrible!"
The first, um, legitimate businessman says, "Shhh! That's next week!"
It will be great fun rubbing your nose in it once this scam is unmasked. You and Kevmo have it coming!
Likewise.....loon.
or whether he has five convictions and jail time and his one 'success' just happened to burn to the ground before he could 'take it to market' ...
Kevmos's list on whom to respond to:
1. Wonder Wart
2. Nobody else.
Check your mail.
Checks in the mail.
I gave up on having a reasonable discussion with you a while ago.
