It is BS. I watched the big presser and the woman couldn’t stop giggling. Even when she was reading her prepared script, she was smiling from ear to ear. She is a walking disaster and this person will not find all this publicity she has brought upon herself, her child, her boyfriend, or anyone else associated with her, to be of the kind of benefit she is expecting.

What kind of grown woman goes out in public and says this kind of stuff. I would say most women know how to handle unwanted advances. Sometimes it’s just part of the game and you learn from it. Actually, what she alleges Cain did is certainly not assault under the common law definition, and is unlikely to be assault under any statutory definition in American law. It would, however, be the tort of battery (though not the crime of battery under most statutes) since that tort is simply defined as unwanted physical contact with the victim by the tortfeasor. As such, even if Cain behaved as alleged, Ms. Bialek (or whatever her name was in 1997) might not have had a basis for a criminal complaint, though she might have sued Cain at the time (assuming some remnant of common law including the tort of battery still prevailed in the District of Columbia), though a she-said-he-said tort suit while having a basis in law would not have been winnable.
Then you haven't seen the type of shit that happens, because it happens both ways. I don't know what happened or didn't happen here.
I've been harrassed like a MOFO, that makes this story look tame by comparison. I've also known of others who made absolutely malicious false allgations against others.
I'm waiting to see how this plays out, but any accuser who can't speak it from his/her heart and needs a script will always give me pause.
This article was the first one I had seen that gave details. How accurate is debatable.
From reading the article a couple of observations. One she wasn’t working for him at this time and she called him for this meeting.
Braking it down, I would say that it was a ‘date’ gone bad. I say this mostly because she didn’t work for him.
I look back on my dating years and if someone placing their hand on your leg and even up the skirt were grounds for a lawsuit, (even had someone try to force me to do things like she described). I could have been rich! Had it happen more than once, let me tell you. She admits that he backed off when she let him know that she was not interested.
I would think the issue stops there. In my opinion, that is how he needs to address it. If the situation happened, he should just say so, and tell how he stopped when she let him know she was not interested and question why she is bringing this up now.
I tried to put myself in her spot and imagine the person that did this to me, if he were running for President and leading in the polls, what would I think? Frankly, while it might cross my mind to want to out him as not being the person that people thought he was, I would not want to have to relive it or expose my family to it. I would also add that this person would sometimes be at places I went and would get in my face and threaten me, if I told anyone, and even accused me of telling. So, to me, this seems a lot worse than what Cain is being accused of. It is ancient history and shouldn’t have any bearing on how he would be as a President. Having said that, thoughts of Clinton do come to mind, but Cain is no Clinton and Clinton had a willing playmate with Lewinsky.
I’m just trying to put it in perspective. All in all, unless someone can prove that he raped them or succeeded in forcing them to perform some sex act, I don’t see these allegations going anywhere. If any of the previous accusers fit the above, you would think they would have settled for a lot more than a year’s salary. JMO

I think most people would agree that what Clinton did to Brodderick and Jones was inappropriate. Lewinsky was consensual, though in my opinion, it shouldn't have been going on in the Oval Office. It does make you wonder. This latest one might have an issue with a pas gone bad, but the others? The others don't want to be named, give no details, so to me I have to wonder WHO sought them out, because if you are not willing to give your name and details why do it at all?
This latest one says she wants to give a face to the the others. Yeah right. It leads back to the others. WHO sought them out. Rove said weeks ago that Cain was going to be out, SOON. I can't help but wonder.
