The vast majority of microbes have not evolved the ability to infect us, or even live on us. Only a few have that ability, and they are very good at it. It doesn't matter how healthy you are, if you come into contact with one of those pathogens and you don't have a pre-existing immunity to it, you WILL get sick.

I'm sure you will be pleased to know that your tax dollars paid for me to get a science PhD so that I could be a medical researcher, doing the original research and filling my head with the knowledge learned by others' original research so that I could come here and spread all of that misinformation revealed by our scientific experiments.
