In the post Tailhook 90’s if you were a male VP or higher at a company of any significant size you could pretty much expect to have some female employee threaten to file a harassment claim against you for any number of reasons.

It just came with the territory. This was especially common with women with poor job performance and who knew they were in danger of being fired. A trumped up harassment claim was a ticket to a free pass transfer to another business unit or to a lucrative severance package.
