i have a position- i’d rather wait and find out all the facts and what exactly was told to whom before i start rushing to knee jerk conclusions unlike yourself...

further, since you seem to know so much, tell us exactly what mcqueary told Paterno he saw, which was communicated to the Grand Jury.....then tell us exactly the history of PSU coaches/grad assistants through up the chain of command since you seem to be inferring mcqueary received his position based on his silence or something to that matter...

thanks in advance...

We don't know. That one piece of the puzzle is conspicuously absent from the Grand Jury presentment and the Grand Jury findings.

We know Joe Paterno says he was told "fondling" and "maybe something of a sexual nature" that made McQueary uncomfortable. We are never told what McQueary says he told Paterno.

McQueary should never coach again. He's 6'4" or 6'6". He was Penn State's QB in 1996 and 1997, so he would have been about 27 or 28 in 2002. He was an athletic male in his physical prime.

He made eye contact with a pre-teen boy who was being anally raped. Here's a kid who saw another adult and must have thought he was going to be helped.

McQueary turned and walked away . . . and called his father. And McQueary knew Sandusky. Sandusky was the defensive coordinator when McQueary played at Penn State. Heck, Sandusky was JoePa's close friend - and the heir apparent, who was supposed to be the next Penn State head coach - when McQueary played.

Ah. The Mike McQueary who walked away from the pre-teen boy being anally raped? This recruiting letter, sent after McQueary joined the Penn State coaching staff (he's now in charge of recruiting) starts to look a little ironic:
