Something she said at the news conference is really bothering me - she said her boyfriend booked her room and when she got to the hotel the room was upgraded by Herman Cain. Possibly there are records to show if he did upgrade the room - my questions is: could the boyfriend have upgraded the room and said he was Herman Cain, are there records of the upgrade and was a credit card used? This could become something if somehow it was upgraded by Herman Cain or maybe it would show no proof of who actually upgraded the room - just wondering.
That begs another question. How did Cain get her info from the hotel in order to upgrade? In this day and age, a hotel won’t tell some third party if you are staying there, let alone, mess with your reservation.
This whole thing stinks and is falling apart all over the place.
It is more likely that the reservation was made for Herman by a secretary or travel consultant, and he upgraded the reservation to a suite. Someone has checked the Hotel logs in order to make this ‘vague’ reference, and now someone is playing the gambit with the data.
