Maybe we shouldn't "Paula Jones" the woman until the dust settles?
This is purported to have happened in 1997 - and after she allegedly repulsed his advances, he didn't force himself on her.
How many years do you think someone in that case should "be a victim"? Should she be standing bedraggled and tears running down her face?
Maybe we should wait and see if the 14-15 year old hotel records are still available?
Is she REALLY a victim? We do know that she’s lawsuit material and a political hit piece (pun). She may be angry because she did not get the job, she may have propositioned him and been turned down. Who knows? We don’t know.
I’ve known women who have sexed themselves into job promotions and knew one who leveled false rape allegations against a supervisor. I’m very cynical of presentations such as this; the only smell-test is passes is a bad one.
If there was a crime, it should have been reported as a crime at the time. The years cloud the issue in favor of the accuser because the accused cannot prove his innocence, which seems to be the case with today’s media and some FReepers.
