No. I’m saying that Cain may or may not have committed adultery. We don’t know. He didn’t divorce his wife.
Newt cheated on wife #1. Divorced her.
Newt cheated on wife #2. Divorced her.
Cain is being accused of something Newt did twice.
I’m just comparing.
Certainly, no reasonable person would switch from Cain to Newt because of these allegations. What Newt did was worse.
Newt has 2 divorces because of his adultery, Cain has 0 divorces because of his alleged adultery.
I’m not saying one is “not so bad” and the other one, at the same time is “just horrible”.
I’m saying, even if what is alleged is true about Cain, Newt did worse.
I could say, both are minor, and Newt did worse.
I could say, both are very serious, and Newt did worse.
But Newt did worse, even if everything being alleged is true, and I don’t think it is.
These charges are NOT a good reason to leave Cain for Newt.
