She also was NOT an employee of the Restaurant Assn. She was let go by them & said she contacted Cain to see if he could get her job back or help her find a new one.
This is Not harrassment of an employee by Herman Cain! No word that he ever did help her & she's probably ticked off & this is pay-back time for her.
That’s an interesting point - if she wasn’t an employee under his domain, then she’s not in a protected class with regard to EEOC. Of course like anyone she can file criminal charges or sue someone, but she’d have to prove her case in court - innnocent until proven guilty. The EEOC imposes an artificial distinction for employee-employer situations.
And what woman asks an alleged sexual harrasser and would-be rapist to help her find a new job? Yeah, right.
It just doesn’t pass the smell test!
It all sounds like Allred BS to me!

Sharon Bialek worked for the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association in Chicago in 1996-1997. Part of her job was to work on a new scholarship initiative for students who wished to continue their education in the restaurant industry.
She was let go in 1997 after being told she had not raised enough money. Bialek felt her discharge was unfair but had no legal resource. Having spent some time with Cain at an NRA convention in 1997 she felt they had made a warm, respectful connection and reached out to Cain for help with employment. As Allred puts it, Cain offered her his own version of a stimulus package.
Allred offered declarations from an ex-boyfriend and businessman friend of Bialeks who back up her claim of harassment by Cain during that time and will attest to the fact that she shared her concerns with them.
she is currently a stay at home mother
