Poor kitty, I thought he was going to be ok, didn’t even know it was touch and go. How sad. :( I would never use American Airlines. I trust Delta Dash and have had nothing but excellent experiences whenever I have had to ship with them.
Thank you, Lucy. Such a sad story. Prayers for the owners, who will have a hole in their hearts for some time to come.

The neighbor locked our cat in his shed and when we finally found him, he was in the same shape. I spent days at the vet with him and brought him home to try to nurse him back. He didn’t make it either. Once they’re so dehydrated, there’s just no hope.

My sister lives in Thialand and this past summer they came back to the states and bought a condo in order to come during the summer months. She was thinking of bringing her cat with next summer, but I will send her the story of Jack the cat and then she won't.
Cats don’t fast too well. They develop fatty liver syndrome that is hard to treat in the advanced stages. I have to question that Jack was not a very sociable cat for him to have hidden for so long. Had he been more gregarious he may have survived.
The little sweetheart. How incredibly sad.

Breaks the heart. So deeply sorry Jack didn’t make it. May his owners be assured he is in the best of hands now. Truly.
