If I remember correctly, an Ohio class SSBN missile sub can carry 24 Tridents, and they are can be MIRV'd to 8 warheads each, with up to 475 Kt warheads... So, are there 192 targets in Iran worthy of 475 Kt? (This from a single "boomer") Remember, it was just 13 to 21 Kt each that took out Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

If Iran launches anything of MRBM or greater capability in anger... regardless of if it works, gets intercepted by missile defense...whatever. I say we turn every possible launch site, every single lab, regardless of where it is located, into a glass topped, self-lighting parking lot.
