Just curious, and not passing judgement. But why wouldn’t you call the real police? After all of the stories we hear about cover ups of this stuff, would you trust the “internal” process.

To Hell with that. I am passing judgement. The police should have been called. How many children did Sandusky rape after this particular incident? How many children could have been spared his predations if someone had possessed the stones to do the right thing??

Absolutely - city police and/or sheriff needed to be brought in. The campus police may be well trained and professional, but they work for a bureaucracy that is compromised in this incident.

A campus is NOT a sovereign nation, they are subject to the same laws everyone else is. They don't get to decide what criminal act merits punishment or reporting to local or state authorities.

A LOT of people are dirty in this one.
