When the conservative field is winnowed down, and consolidated behind one or two candidates, Romney will be fortunate to get 25% of the vote.
There are a lot of “not Romney” people out there.

I sure hope so. There were a lot of “not McCain” people out there, too. Didn’t work out so well.

There are a lot of “not Romney” people out there.
And they aren't growing either. I won't support Romney in the primaries or general election, that's for sure, but if he can't grow his supporters, he won't matter. The field will sort itself out.
