btw, nice interception by Bama.
Oh, gosh. Thanks!
Like Reagan, Cain will surround himself with the best advisers he can find. Cain has said this many times.
I am loving this debate. The Social Security discussion is awesome.
I think Newt is brilliant...always have. Evidently so did his geometry teacher.
90 MINUTES WAS TOO SHORT!!!
No kidding...I found myself looking around the room for a cigarette, and I have never even smoked once in my life.
Your intereference and comments will be well remembered when your candidate has his time ‘live’ here on a thread....oh..that’s right...he’s run into his corner with his wet blanket....promising not to play in the big boys park anymore.
Just a post-event observation: Cain held his own. Gingrich was as good as expected on policy details and professorial "I bet you have never thought about it in this way before so let me blow your mind with a brilliant insight that makes my point obvious and unarguable to the whole world, HA!" moments; Cain demonstrated a serious mind and a mature character at complete confidence to be on the same stage. So, no wreckage.
Especially Topo Gigio!
Cindie
You should have watched this. It was a great debate all around.
I wonder why they are so scared of him? Makes no sense.
Perry can and will give them what they want, but they don’t want it if it comes from him.
Strange.
...and Hussein, if put in a discussion or format like this, would have his ASS KICKED.
I loved this debate, so please don’t assume I am a nay -sayer, again, please!
But I didn’t hear either of them address the biggest problem we face.
Credit Derivative Swaps, Mortgage Backed Securities, and “margin calls”!
If we do not have an honest market, how can anyone feel secure about their “private accounts”. If we have a rigged market and an inflated “currency”, nothing is safe - if the brokers, leveraging and hedging everything in sight, including the timing of our farts, are involved.
Like, why work at a productive activity/enterprise? All you have to do is go to the Wall Street Casino, and play your hedges right?
Siigning off now, sick and disgusted that Cain and Gingrich didn’t call the “white-shoe-boys” on the big-bank & Goldman/Sachs game of suckering in the small-fry and pension fund money.
Got PMs?if so, hang on to them!. Some of us are too poor to get into these, but smart enough to know that we live on the lower levels of the Titannic.
Too bad about us, I guess.
pres is executive, like oh, a CEO of , say a pizza company. vp is pres pro tem of senate...he should have legislative experience, maybe like a congressional leader
You don’t seriously believe that Mr. Cain will pick up black votes, do you?
He probably won’t even get his wife’s vote since she’s a democrat and I’ll bet 90% of the people in his own church vote for Obama.
Ah, perhaps you’re right, we all are just ignorant of all that Perry has acomplished. It couldn’t be that we see through the Romney-lite moron.
No we’re too stupid to see that this stumblebum drunk acting GWB wanna be is not the guy we want.
Get over yourself, Perry is a loser’s loser, he’s not a viable candidate for President, how long will you be singing the praises of a single digit impersonator.
Not possible.
That's pretty close to absolute reality, friend. I don't dislike Perry. He's my Governor. I'm just informed enough, perceptive enough, and honest enough to acknowledge him for what he is, and for what he is not.
He led that company from the 5th-largest pizza company to the 11th-largest pizza company.
But yes, it is a type of leadership, just not the type of leadership that was being discussed in this arena. The manager of a baseball team is a leader as well, but not the type that translates into being President.
Cain was appointed to that position, and he reported to the parent corporate management.
But you know, I’ll take your criticism. He’s certainly a better leader than I am, and yes, there are leadership qualities involved in what he did, and I apologize. I’m looking for presidential leadership, and don’t see it, but he does have leadership aspects. And he certainly has a lot of followers.
Oh, I thought it was funny.
Guess you didn’t take Cain’s advice to get a sense of humor.
