An event is set for Nov. 12 in Scottsdale to honor slain Border Patrol agent Brian Terry and help defray his mother's costs.
The "Remember Brian Terry" event will be from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. next Saturday at the Scottsdale International Auto Museum, 9119 E. Indian Bend Road in Scottsdale. It will include music, a buffet, cash bar, raffle and a silent/live auction.
Tickets are $35 per person through Nov. 11, and $50 the day of the event. Money raised will go to Josephine Terry, the agent's mother, who has incurred many expenses since her son's murder, such as attorney's fees and probate costs, said Lana Domino, who is helping organize the event.
For more information, go to www.rememberbrianterry.com or call Domino at 480-266-7933 or fellow organizer Christy Lynn Miller at 480-223-3669.
