What we are experiencing now is nothing but the putrid stench of socialist rot.
It has nothing to do with capitalism.
Reading how the author points out that the WWP was originally created as a front group by the Soviet Union, it struck me that most of the younger folks today do not understand the existential danger that the old Soviet Union posed to the West. He kind of puts it out there and assumes that readers will make the connection. I’m not so sure younger ones will.
I’ve talked to my kids (18, 16 and 12) about the death struggle between the US and USSR while I grew up. They are NOT taught about the communist menace at school (but they are at home).
As was the D F-L in Minnesota, as a more local example.
