My point is even if he was a pacifist it took some balls to get into a B-17 and go on a mission.. Even if it was a milk run there had to be flack. So he gets kudos for that.. IMHO
If I remember, you were giving kudos to him for "serving". He was a pacifist, socialist-loving correspondent. Most pacifist, socialist-loving correspondents aren't exactly known for accurate reporting.
